How we work

The working week runs from Monday to Friday.

Work starts each day at 08h 00 A.M and continues for 10 hours at the Family Planning (FP) and outpatient unit.  The Foundation is a fast growing project, basically becoming a reference center in the cosmopolitan economic capital of Douala, and with the advancement of the services offered, patients have ask for an inpatient unit. There are plans to provide four beds to integrate these services which will run for 24/7.

The number of patients and clients the project receives daily is constantly growing from 20 to 36, especially on Mondays.  Many of them do testify that they were informed of our services by other patients who have been to the Foundation and found the services to be of high quality. Given the reputation of Foundation health facilities for quality and diligent medical care, we receive patients and clients from all over the town and from other parts of the Littoral Region. Saturdays and Sundays are reserve for emergency cases, but patient must get in touch and take an appointment.

The services we offer include FP services, general consultation, observation of patients on infusion fluids, and injections, post-abortion care, pharmacy, HIV and AIDS work, minor laboratory services, antenatal care services, women health program, Tuberculosis, diabetes services and cancer of the breast and uterus clinic.  In addition, we have a unit that uses alternative medicines to treat very complicated cases that exceeds patients’ and conventional doctor’s expectations and imagination.
